At Macaw Mountain, all the nests of the care, reproduction and rehabilitation center have been checked. Eight new scarlet macaw eggs were identified.
The team of the organization took the opportunity to weigh the young Scarlet Macaws as part of their growth monitoring, and one of them has already been banded. Everyone is doing great!
The ideal weather at this time of year favors the formation of new couples, and a lot of unfertilized eggs were found. The next operation will be to check the satellite nests installed in the “Sacred Valley of the Scarlet Macaw”.
