Some news of the turtle received on August 19th following a neck injury from a speargun.
Named Captain Heifara after the captain who rescued it, it returned to the water this week for the first time since its arrival.
Captain Heifara remained floating without any swimming movements, a common reaction for turtles which suffer injuries in the in the neck and head.
Next sessions will be decisive and we hope they will allow this turtle to regain its reflexes.
